The FAU-G mobile game has already been pre-registered by more than 1 million people after going live on Google Play on December 16th.
FAU-G (meaning soldier in Hindi) was expected to debut in October 2020 but then the launch was postponed to November 2020, and now the launch date is set on 26th January 2021, i.e., Republic day of India. It is already available for pre-registration on google play.
FAU-G, full named Fearless and United Guards, will compete with PUBG Mobile India, which is finding it hard to make its way back to India after the ban by the Indian government.
NCore Games, the Bengaluru-based developers of the FAU-G game, informed on Twitter about its ongoing pre-registrations on google play. People who have pre-registered for this will get push notifications as soon as the game gets available for download. Also, this game is being promoted by some of the big Bollywood stars like Akshay Kumar encouraging the feeling of ‘Made in India’.
A total of 20% of revenue generated from FAU-G will be contributed to Bharat-Ke-Veer which is India’s Bravehearts trust.
The entire gameplay of FAU-G is inspired by the Indian soldiers. The characters will be referenced as FAU-G commandos, a group of Indian soldiers guarding the country’s border. There is no doubt that the game will benefit from anti-China sentiments as the game was announced at the same time when there was violence between Chinese and Indian soldiers on the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
