Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan starrer The Big Bull finally hit the screens on Thursday, 8th April 2021, streaming on Disney+Hotstar.
The film was in the news ever since its trailer jumped on the internet and people were waiting to watch Mr. Junior Bachchan spin his magic with a powerful performance. People were left intrigued after the launch of the trailer as it reminded them of Abhishek’s ‘Guru‘ gays as a businessman.

The movie is directed by Kookie Gulati and the film is based on the securities scam of the year 1992. It is said to be based on stockbroker Harshad Mehta’s life and his engagement in financial crimes over 10 years, from 1980 to 1990.

We can see mixed reviews about the film hovering over the internet, some are praising Abhishek Bachchan’s performance, while some are making fun of the movie while comparing it with the web series released earlier (with great success) Scam 1992.
Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, The Big Bull did not have a theatrical release and had to be released on Disney+Hotstar. Abhishek Bachchan mentioned the same and said that the movie was expected to have a theatrical release but the pandemic forced them to go for a digital premiere instead.
“The film was thought of, conceived, and dreamt of like a big-screen spectacle. If you see the trailer, the songs, as well as everything else, are larger than life. It has been made keeping the big screen in mind. We intended this for the cinemas,”
