The interim decision of the Supreme Court has dealt a major blow to the central government.
The Supreme Court said that the three agricultural laws can also be cancelled. Chief Justice of India SA Bobde (CJI SA Bobde) said, “This suspension, will not be held indefinitely”.

The 3 Farm laws are:
- First of which is, Farmers’ Produce, Trade, and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act,
- The second is, Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act,
- And the Third is the Farmers’ (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act.
In its verdict, the Supreme Court has stayed the implementation of the 3 agricultural laws and constituted a committee of four members.
Four members in the Supreme Court committee are:
- Jeetendra Singh Mann, President of BKU.
- Dr. Pramod Kumar Joshi, Head of the International Policy.
- Ashok Gulati, Agricultural Economist
- Anil Dhanwat, Sivakeri Organization, Maharashtra
The d Attorney General said that Khalistani supporters are helping the farmer movement. On account of which, the Supreme Court has denied the tractor rally which was scheduled on the 26th of Jan, stating that such a rally will an embarrassment for the country.
Rakesh Tikait president of the Bharatiya Kisan Union said that we thank the honorable Supreme Court for the positive attitude towards farmers. Farmers demand to repeal the law and make the minimum support price a law. The movement will endure till this demand is met. The United Front will announce strategies after examining the order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court.
