Recently, many Chinese apps like Tik-Tok, PUBG Mobile, and share-it have been banned in India, this has led many Indian app developers to come forward and present Indian alternative apps as a replacement for these foreign apps. Due to this, there is an overabundance of Indian apps on the Google play store.
Also, the struggle prevailing between the Indian government and the foreign microblogging platform Twitter (due to the banning of multiple accounts) has given rise to some Indian microblogging platforms such as the Koo app.
