On behalf of Bharat Biotech, it has been said that it is donating 16.5 lakh vaccine doses to the Government of India. Initially, the company has been given the first order of 5 million vaccine doses by the Government of India.
Covaxin is a corona vaccine that has been discovered and produced entirely in India. Bharat Biotech prepared this vaccine in partnership with the National Institute of Virology (NIV) and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Government of India. The specialty of the vaccine is that it has been prepared to keep in mind the conditions of India and can be easily stored at a temperature of 2-8 ° C.
Before Covaxin, the Covishield vaccine has been sent to 13 cities in the country. Covishield is produced by Serum Institute and on Tuesday the vaccine was sent to 13 different cities of the country.
The vaccination campaign of Corona vaccine is starting in the country from January 16 and Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is going to start this vaccination campaign. Vaccines are being delivered in different cities of the country. Initially, the front-line corona warriors will be vaccinated with the corona vaccine.
