Here’s a list of the most expensive liquors in the world
- Henri IV Dudognon Heritage Cognac is $1.9 million (or INR 12,08,59,855).
This is the most expensive cognac in the world, and it is packed by jeweller Jose Davalos. This pricey whiskey was created in 1776 and has been aged in barrels for for 100 years. The cognac is then placed in a jewel-encrusted bottle that has been dipped in 24 K gold and sterling platinum. Then it is adorned with 6,500 superb cut diamonds.
- Tequila Ley costs $1.5 million, or (INR 9,53,85,675)
This comes in a one-liter, two-piece handcrafted bottle. One side of the bottle is made entirely of platinum, while the other is made entirely of white gold. The two pieces are joined together by a solid platinum symbol, and the price reflects this.
- 105-Year-Old Malt Master costs $1.4 million (INR 8,90,26,630)
On April 1, 2011, a 105-year-old Master of Malt was unearthed. It was reported that this was made at the Highland distillery Aisla T’Orten before spending 105 years in the cellar of an Aberdeen-based historian, Allie Sisell. Unfortunately, this was an April Fool’s joke.
- 64-year-old Macallan Single Malt Scotch Whisky costs $460,000 (INR 2,92,44,500)
This whiskey was distilled from three sherry-seasoned Spanish oak barrels that were filled in 1942, 1945, and 1946, respectively. The Macallan 64-year-old single malt whisky comes in a one-of-a-kind “Lalique: Cire Perdue” crystal decanter.
- Dalmore 64 Trinitas Single Malt Whisky costs $160,000 (INR 1,01,72,000)
Only a few 64-year-old whiskies have been released to yet. This whiskey was only available in three bottles. This opulent and exquisite masterpiece was created using only the best materials.
- Highland Park 50 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky costs $17,500 (INR 11,12,562)
It’s thick and spicy, with great tannins and muscovado sugar flavours at the fore, as well as a whiff of wax. Flavors of orange peel, camphor, and clove emerge when reduced.
