The farmers remained adamant on the demand for withdrawal of the law and there was no consensus on the difficulty of legalizing the MSP. After meeting for about 4 hours in Vigyan Bhawan on, Monday 4th Jan, the farmers said, “If the laws do not return, it is not home”. On the question of no result in these meetings, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said, “The clap sounds with both hands”. Now subsequent dialogue between the govt and the farmers Union is going to be hung on 8th January.
Like earlier, this time also farmers refused to consume the food offered by the govt side. They prepared and brought their lunch and refreshments.
