The newest 7th episode of WandaVision ( streaming on Diseny+Hostar) answered a lot of questions asked by the MARVEL fans, as now we finally know who was behind the Westview irregularity. With many new mysteries being unveiled, this latest 7th episode of the web-series has raised the stakes for the possible pleasant world of Wanda Vision.
5 things from Wanda-Vision’s latest episode:
!SPOILERS AHEAD!
1. Big reveal:
While this was already suspected by ardent followers of MARVEL, it still came as an astonishment. Agnes, played by Kathryn Hahn, is Agatha Harkness, who is accountable for the whole irregularities of the Westview. While Wanda has been questioning herself how she created everything, we now know that the reason behind everything was ‘Agatha- The other magical girl in the town’.
2. What about Agatha Harkness?
In the comics, Agatha is a witch who outlasted the original Salem witch experiments and was one of the mentors to Wanda. But, in the series, it looks like the creators have jumped ahead in the storyline where Agatha is, in fact, the brute of the storyline. The character ‘Agatha’ was first introduced in the comics of Fantastic Four in the 1960s.
3. Monica Rambeau’s big flash against Wanda:
So far, we have seen that Monica’s mother ‘Maris‘ was a dear confidante of Captain Marvel, and it is slightly noticed that Monica has some unfinished business with Carol herself. But watching her discern her special powers (s a result of going in and out of the hex several times) was a big bit for the fans. Monica seems to have gained some superpowers, and we realize this when she went face to face with Wanda and tried to tell her the truth about the outside world. Also, her eye color changes from time to time to blue.
4. The post-credits scene:
At the end of the 7th episode, there was an important post-credits scene in which we saw Monica trying to get into Wanda’s house through a hatch, but as soon as she opens the entry, she can see something mysterious, apparently as a result of Agnes’ powers. Just then, Pietro (Wanda’s brother who died in the age of Ultron), played by Evan Peters, retorts to the scene. It seemed like Pietro was evicted by Wanda after the events that took place at the end of Episode 6, but his return has opened a new mystery. Pietro’s appearance is yet to be revealed in the show ahead.
5. The era of the sitcom:
While it is apparent from the episode 7 trailer itself, that the series is inspired by ‘The Office’ and ‘Modern Family’ series. The mockumentary format with a reasonably modern perspective guided us to the subsequent decade of television culture, but it was quite striking that the series is notwithstanding the familiar format and the makers are keeping the background song as a part of the show. Modern Family and The Office are both known to have no background music until and unless necessary.
