IPL 2021: The match between 5 time champion Mumbai Indians and two-time champion Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) was held at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium on Tuesday, 13th April, 2021. The Knights Riders entered the tournament with the hope to take revenge for their previous loss against Mumbai. However, they failed in both things be it bowling or batting, and it resulted in its second loss against the Mumbai Indians.
All the credit goes to Rahul Chahar who brought MI back into the game as he took the crucial wicket of Nitish Rana in the 15th over who was playing at the score of 57.. And hence Mumbai Indians comfortably defended the below-par total of 152 runs! After the victory against KKR, Mumbai climbed to the second position in the points tally with a good net run rate and one win out of two fixtures while KKR was positioned by fifth place with one win in two matches.
